Help and support for women

AWARENESS RAISING ABOUT THE WORK OF THE NETWORK MEMBERS IN THE FIELD OF COMABATING VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN IN SLOVAKIA

Since 1999, our member organisations have provided help and support to 6,185 women and 8,665 children of women – survivors of violence. We operate local helplines, counselling centres and a shelter.

Development of specialist support services and their quality is an ongoing process. We respond to the changing needs of women experiencing violence, as well as to new legislation, attitudes of people to women’s rights and violence against women and other important social processes and changes.
