AWARENESS RAISING ABOUT THE WORK OF THE NETWORK MEMBERS IN THE FIELD OF COMABATING VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN IN SLOVAKIA

In order to achieve a society that will not tolerate violence, it is necessary to achieve a change in people’s attitudes to violence and women’s rights. Women’s Safety Network member organisations have therefore been carrying out various campaigns and activities focusing on awareness raising. They also create space for active involvement of different people in the campaigns and for expressing their attitudes to violence against women.

Since 2001, we have carried out 65 campaigns, 15 theatre performances, and have also started giving out an award to individuals and initiatives aimed at ending violence against women in Slovakia.
